International Year of Family Farming 2014
All over the world, family-run farms make a key contribution to the population’s food supply. They play a vital role in the sustainable use of resources and the preservation of biodiversity. In order to underline their economic, social and ecological importance, the UN announced the International Year of Family Farming (external link).
