The ETH-Bibliothek actively uses social media within its communications. It surveys the opinions of its customers and uses them to improve its products and services.

 

The ETH-Bibliothek does not allow any abusive, offensive or defamatory comments to be made on its platforms. Any such comments are deleted without notifying the author. Unrequested advertising is also deleted (as with spam in the case of emails).

Comments and opinions expressed by third parties in the ETH-Bibliothek social media which require a response from the ETH-Bibliothek are answered as appropriate. Discussions involving repetitive arguments are terminated at an appropriate time.

The ETH-Bibliothek keeps track of any publications and comments about the ETH-Bibliothek. Positive statements are redistributed via the appropriate channels, while false reports are corrected. Statements which reflect critically on the ETH-Bibliothek are collected as feedback and commented on where appropriate.
