Free allocation of ISBN for individual publications of members and institutes belonging to ETH Zurich by the ETH-Bibliothek

Procedure
Please send an email to e-publishing@library.ethz.ch with the following details:
- Your name, ETH organisation, address
- Names of the authors
- Title of the publication
- Planned date of publication
You will be sent the ISBN in the next few days.

Conditions
- The service is free of charge.
- Please note the basic principles for using ISBN: ISBN-Agentur Schweiz
- You must deposit a specimen copy at both the ETH-Bibliothek and the Swiss National Library NB.
- You can opt to register your publication in the Verzeichnis lieferbarer Bücher VLB.
- Handling orders for the books remains the responsibility of the institutes in question.
