Is an obligation to open access possible in Switzerland?

A new article in the legal journal "sui-generis" addresses this question.

Universities and research funding organizations in Switzerland increasingly demand that research results must be published open access. One question arising in this context is whether university employees may be required to publish open access or not. The authors Fabienne Graf and Dario Haux show how this issue has been addressed in other countries and then look at a possible commitment to open access in Switzerland.
