The former Chemistry building and colour research at ETH Zurich

Sunday, 15 September 2019, 10.00 – 16.00

ETH Zürich Zentrum, CAB building (external link), Universitätsstrasse 6

The former Chemistry building at ETH Zurich (‘CAB’ for short) is a listed building. As part of European Heritage Days 2019, it will open its doors to the public for a colourful day of events.

The building dates from 1886 and marries ground-breaking architecture with innovative research. The holdings of the Collections and Archives of ETH Zurich tell us about this historically significant place. Experts from the fields of architecture, preservation of monuments, materials research and photography will accompany you throughout the day. With the virtual tour, you can immerse yourself in the world of Chemistry in that era.
