The Bauhaus and Switzerland

With the founding of the Bauhaus in Weimar 100 years ago, a myth was created that still fascinates today. For the Swiss avant-garde, the revolutionary art school was formative. It was prominently represented in the university teaching staff (Johannes Itten, Hannes Meyer) and among the students (Max Bill, Hans Fischli). The gta archive contains numerous documents on the subject.
