  • Subscription to 180 journals


  • 27 study spaces with Wireless LAN (external link), group workstations for 8 and 4 persons in the basement
  • 2 public workstations (personal login required)
  • 1 ETH Print Service multifunctional device (scan to email and copy without nethz-login; print from personal device with nethz-login; b/w, colour)
  • Reading corner


  • Information: advice, counselling, help with searches
  • Customer Service: new registrations, renewing your library user, cardfees, reminders

Archives of Contemporary History

The Archives of Contemporary History (external link) are a special location of GESS Library.
The collections of the archives are not available for borrowing and therefore cannot be ordered online, with the exception of requests for copies. For the use of the archive materials in the reading room please contact:
