Borrow more than 52,000 scientific e-books from technology and the natural sciences, management, the social sciences and the humanities electronically – anytime, anyplace (Residence in Switzerland is compulsory)

This service requires a one-off registration. The procedure has been simplified for ETH Zurich Alumni.

Document  delivery Obtain free copies of articles as well as documents from ETH Library and libraries around the world
oaFindrAccess to 20 million academic articles published Open Access via ETH Library’s website. Outside the ETH Zurich's IP-range, a login to the ETH Library website is required.
Online archives of journal articlesAccess to scientific journal articles published by Cambridge University Press, De Gruyter, Oxford University Press and Springer Nature. Further information on National licences (external link).

In compliance with copyright laws electronic copies of articles may only be sent to members of the ETH Alumni Association residing in Switzerland or Austria. Copies to alumni in Germany may only be sent in paper form by mail.

The borrowing of books requires a residence in Switzerland.

Copies of articles may not be sent to members of the ETH Alumni Association residing outside Switzerland, Austria, and Germany.
